Hi, I'm Wendy Palmer - the founder of The Entertaining Space.

I've spent two decades working in two industries that revolve around the same idea: helping people fall in love with a space. As a real estate broker, I've walked countless buyers through homes and watched what actually makes someone stop and picture their life there. As a hospitality owner, I learned that the outdoor space is where people really gather - it's where the conversations happen, where the evening stretches out a little longer.

But every time I went looking for outdoor furnishings - for my own property, or for a client staging a backyard - I ran into the same problem. Everything was scattered across a dozen different sites, and the pieces I found were the same underwhelming sets I'd seen everywhere else. Nothing felt considered. Nothing felt like it would last. So I built the store I wanted to shop at.

Every piece at The Entertaining Space is chosen by hand. I look for quality materials, craftsmanship and brands that stand behind their warranty. I work directly with suppliers I've vetted myself - if I wouldn't put it in my own backyard or recommend it to a client, it doesn't go on the site.
